Caroline Bonner

Caroline is a bilingual language educator who has spent the last five years teaching at Nido de Águilas International School in Santiago, Chile. She is passionate about mentoring young adults as they grow and prepare themselves to be thoughtful global citizens.

During her time in Chile, she taught the Purpose Curriculum to high schoolers and was the Wayfinder Coordinator for two years. As an educator with a philosophy based in the importance of social emotional learning, she felt immediately connected to Wayfinder’s vision. She has found deep meaning and purpose in connecting with cultures both globally and also the layers of culture we all hold within ourselves. She believes in the inherent worth of all people and seeks to combat economic and educational disparities across cultures.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Caroline began teaching in Washington, and holds a BA in Spanish, TESOL and bilingual education from Western Washington University.
