Samantha Garabedian

Digital Marketing Associate

Samantha is a UCLA graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Associate degrees in Women's Studies and Social Sciences. She was the Marketing Director for UCLA’s technology program, DevX. She advocated for students of all backgrounds and majors to enter into the tech space by launching a program to teach the fundamentals of marketing.

She successfully completed multiple marketing internships for startup tech companies. For one of her projects, Samantha helped market a workbook teaching young girls entrepreneurship skills to increase women’s representation and leadership in STEM fields. Some other meaningful experiences include designing a marketing plan to release a branding and site-wide redesign, and creating a robust protocol for user interviews.

Through her studies of women and gender, Samantha gained a critical lens to apply to marketing. She has grounded her academic and professional work in thoughtful examination of the world and has strengthened bonds with those around her along the way.

In her free time, Samantha likes to go on sunny walks, eat yummy food, read, play piano, and crochet.
