Tammie is a dedicated and innovative professional passionate about culturally and linguistically responsive content. She has contributed significantly to various institutions and organizations over the last 20 years and has demonstrated expertise in instruction, curriculum development, facilitation, coaching, data analysis, and instructional design. Throughout her career, Tammie has continuously sought opportunities for growth and advancement in education. During her tenure at Relay GSE, Tammie held a number of instructional roles, including Senior Assistant Professor, where she played a crucial role in preparing future culturally responsive educators for the challenges and opportunities of the teaching profession. Throughout her career, Tammie has advocated for social-emotional learning (SEL), recognizing its impact on academic success and overall well-being. Tammie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education from CUNY Medgar Evers College, a Master of Educational Leadership from Argosy University in Atlanta, and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development from Walden University. As a mother of two, her commitment to SEL and culturally responsive instruction is deeply personal and drives her passion for empowering students to succeed. Tammie's dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment to creating inclusive learning environments position her as a valuable asset in shaping the educational landscape.
