Zareen is an experienced finance and operations professional who has worked in industries ranging from e-commerce to social justice and education, entertainment, and higher education. She graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelors of Business Economics and is currently pursuing her Masters in Social Entrepreneurship from the USC Marshall School of Business.
Throughout her career, Zareen has grounded her work in serving people and making a positive impact on the world. Growing up, service and community were woven into the fabric of her everyday life, and her dedication to these values soon became an integral part of her career path.
Zareen’s first-generation Muslim Pakistani-American identity has heavily shaped the way she sees the world and is something she holds close to her heart. It has left her firm in her conviction that no one person should be held back from fulfilling their greatest potential due to their background and that true justice and economic empowerment come from guiding individuals to step into their power and overcome structural and systemic barriers. In line with these beliefs, she has continuously participated in Southern California community organizations, most recently serving on a startup executive team launching a nonprofit organization that uplifts Muslim women in their professional endeavors.
In her free time, Zareen seeks out great coffee shops, spends time on the coast, and explores her creativity through photography and music exchanges with friends.
