Amy Wagoner

Amy Wagoner

Amy has over a decade of experience programmatically building social and emotional skills in students and teachers. As a third-grade teacher in KIPP Philadelphia Schools, Amy recognized the need for targeted instruction in mindfulness and emotional regulation among her students. She created an innovative K-4 curriculum using play and movement to teach and practice these essential skills. To meet the evolving needs of her school community, she collaborated with leaders to incorporate SEL practices into structures and routines throughout the school. Amy designed and facilitated adult learning experiences that built skills and integrated SEL practices into every school day for every community member, ensuring that staff could model with intentionality and feel supported. Amy holds a B.A. and an M.S.W. from Washington University in St. Louis. She firmly believes in the power of joyful learning experiences that foster self-discovery and strengthen community bonds. She is thrilled to contribute her skills to support students, teachers, and school communities with Wayfinder.
