Ana is passionate about the power of design and innovation in driving social progress. A curious individual and resourceful designer, she enjoys taking on challenges and picking up new skills on the fly.
Prior to joining Project Wayfinder, Ana spent time working in a creative agency setting, as well as in-house at Philadelphia’s only latinx print newspaper. There she honed her skills working across print and digital projects for clients big and small. Her experience working to develop brand identity systems for everything from a beloved Philadelphia produce market, to Olympic Gold medalists, and international telecommunications companies, allows her to adapt to and deliver on any design challenge. In addition to her work as a designer, in the last year Ana art directed two multi-platform marketing campaigns for social and cultural initiatives led by the City of Philadelphia.
Originally from northern Mexico, Ana holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. There she received a Department Citation for Distinction in the conception and execution of her Degree Project which focused on the history of Mexican immigration to the United States, as told through music and song. In her free time, Ana enjoys participating in mountain bike races, running, hiking or anything that gets her moving outdoors.
