David Sanders has spent his entire career in the web and software development space. Beginning his web development career in 2015, he’s a self-taught full-stack developer who’s worked to understand both the technology and business side of software development.
In 2016, he moved to Chicago and joined Dealer eProcess as a Front-end engineer. Shortly after joining, they promoted David to engineering manager for the front-end development team, and then shortly after to director of programming and client support.
Departing Dealer eProcess, David joined the University of Chicago as the senior website specialist for the Office of Communications in 2019. In this role, David oversaw the redesign of University’s main website, worked to establish web related policies and standards, standardize web-related procurement processes, manage the University’s COVID-19 response website, and managed web work and projects falling under the Assistant Vice President of Digital Communications.
David brings experience in the areas of Back-end Web Development, Front-end Web Development, and Technical Project Management. His passion for processes, problem solving, and improving lives with technology continues to drive much of his work.
