Account Executive
 Emily Goyert

Emily strives to make positive, lasting change. With over ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she has spent her career raising critical funds for organizations that strengthen our communities.

Inviting others to be part of something bigger than themselves has been a lifelong theme.  It started in middle school, when Emily sold raffle tickets to support a local animal shelter asking people to give a few dollars and play a small role in making meaningful change. This led to a career in nonprofit fundraising.

Specializing in major gifts and donor engagement, Emily has helped execute two successful fundraising campaigns that raised over $100 million and $4 billion respectively. In her role as a senior major gifts officer, she helped raise over one million dollars annually for a healthcare organization. Emily also had the honor of serving as lead writer on a gift proposal that helped secure a $100 million investment for the University of Michigan.

Studying and working in public health, Emily dove deeper into how we can design large-scale, effective interventions that create healthier communities. The intersection of mental health and public health drew Emily to Wayfinder. She comes to this work eager to invite others to join Wayfinder in empowering young people to build and live healthy lives.

Emily earned a Bachelors in Sociology and a Masters in Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). Living in Northern Colorado, she enjoys hiking any chance she can get. Her favorite local hike is Bear Peak in Boulder and she’s always looking for recommendations.

My purpose is to help ensure that all individuals are empowered with the resources they need to live happy and healthy lives.
