Enrique Collazo

Enrique was born and raised in Los Angeles and has been teaching in the Bay Area for the last 10 years. He is well loved and respected for his inspirational work at Challenge Day, an experiential SEL workshop serving thousands of young people across the country. With a heart dedicated to fostering emotional intelligence and holistic growth, he is deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of the next generation. His skill with teens has led to teaching internationally for Inward Bound Mindfulness Education, where he also serves on their Guiding Teacher Counsel.

Through his experiences and studies, Enrique has come to understand that Social and Emotional Learning is not just an educational concept; it's a powerful tool that equips young people with essential life skills. From enhancing self-awareness to fostering empathy and resilience, Enrique believes that SEL lays the foundation for a thriving and balanced life.

Enrique’s commitment to SEL is not only evident in his advocacy efforts but also in his day-to-day interactions. Whether he’s facilitating a workshop for 200 people, volunteering his time with youth organizations, or collaborating with educators, his mission is clear: to create a world where every young person is equipped with the emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills needed to navigate life's challenges with grace and confidence.
