Partner Success and Engagement Associate
 Jenae McCarroll

Jenae is passionate about creating, facilitating, and supporting vibrant experiences for learners of all ages to find deep joy and purpose. Before joining Wayfinder, she was the director of enrichment and auxiliary programs at Cascades Academy, a K-12 independent school in Bend, Oregon. She worked with educators and community members to build and facilitate STEAM, leadership, and nature-based programming for children throughout Central Oregon. During this time, Jenae also served on the board of directors for The Traveling School and on the programming committee for the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon. Both of these organizations provide young people with experiential opportunities to learn about themselves through exploring the world around them.

Prior to program direction, Jenae lived and worked at Verde Valley School, an international boarding and day school in Sedona, Arizona, infusing the IB curriculum with robust community and experiential learning. There, she taught Theory of Knowledge to juniors and seniors, coordinated the advancement and alumni engagement department, and directed Project Period, a ten-day creative, active, and service-based immersive learning program for the whole school.

Jenae started her career in education leading and teaching academic, service, and cultural immersion experiences for high school students throughout Africa, South America, and Asia for The Traveling School and ARCC Programs for nearly ten years. She has worked as a leadership development and systems efficiency coach and consultant for groups and organizations seeking to amplify their work’s impact by building closer connections to self, colleagues, and their communities.

Jenae holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership and Organizational Psychology.

My purpose is to develop, facilitate, and support generative experiences where people feel heard, seen, and loved to show up as their most authentic selves.
