Sarah is a former educator with a passion for providing learners and educators with the support and resources they need to become successful today and in the future.
Sarah has always known that she would be an educator! She began her career in education as an elementary school teacher, teaching kindergarten, second, and fourth grades. During this time, she continuously sought leadership roles where she could work with the teachers in her building and across the district on instructional best practices. After several years in the classroom, she realized that she wanted to have a larger impact on teaching and learning and pursued a Master’s degree. Upon graduation, Sarah became an administrator in a large school district outside of Charlotte, North Carolina.
After serving schools at both the high school and elementary school level, Sarah transitioned to a role working with a large curriculum provider. In this role, she provided engaging K-12 reading, math, science and social studies resources to districts and schools across North Carolina.
Sarah then joined the team at Edmentum. During her time with Edmentum, she served districts and schools across the nation in implementing Edmentum’s K-12 digital curriculum and assessments. Sarah loved seeing the growth of learners and educators through the use of these resources in the classroom and beyond!
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Elementary Education and Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. There she was also a part of the North Carolina Principal Fellows program. In her free time, Sarah enjoys doing anything outside with her husband and three children, running, and cooking.
