Alysa is an experienced youth developer committed to providing equitable and inclusive experiences for young people to be their most empowered selves.
Prior to joining Project Wayfinder, Alysa spent eight years at Summer Search, a mentoring organization committed to empowering young people to discover their purpose through mentoring, summer experiential learning, and post-secondary support. There, Alysa piloted, designed and implemented group mentoring, the organization’s first big bet innovation throughout its 25 year history. During this time, Alysa cultivated her passion and skills in social emotional learning & DEI curriculum development.
Alysa graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Psychology and Minor in Urban Education and a Master’s in Counseling with PPSC from Sonoma State University in California.
Alysa enjoys cooking, has a passion for health and well-being, and also Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and will do whatever it takes to spend time in the ocean.
